2026 World Championship Information

The Saloon Stock Car World Championship is scheduled for Northampton on 12 & 13 September.

The World Championship grid is due to be announced on Saturday 22 August.

Drivers racing at the World Championship weekend will fall into one of the following categories.
* UK mainland seeded (Top 24 in the World Rankings)
* UK mainland Last Chance Qualifier (outside the Top 24 in the World Rankings)
* UK mainland support (has zero World Rankings points)
* International competitor 

The format for each day will be dependent upon driver bookings.
The Last Chance Qualifier race(s) will be on Saturday 12 September.
The World Championship race will be on Sunday 13 September.

UK mainland drivers are requested to make Bookings during the following window:
Bookings Open - Monday 17 August at 09:00
Bookings Close - Monday 24 August at 17:00

The composition of the World Championship grid for season 2027 is being reviewed by the Saloon Stock Car Association.

World Rankings for the 2026 World Championship will conclude on 20 August 2026.

World Rankings for the 2027 season will commence on 21 August 2026, with the start of Late Season scoring at the remaining dates in August:

Buxton (23 Aug)
Skegness (25 Aug)
Cowdenbeath (29 Aug)
St Day (30 Aug) - Cornish Championship
Taunton (31 Aug) - Devon Championship
