World Championship Rota

After a review of the World Championship rota, Nutts Corner Raceway has been added to the roster.

The venue will host the Saloon Stock Car World Championship for the first time in 2028, with the event then set to return every six years thereafter.

Nutts Corner Raceway have noted how this marks a major milestone for both the circuit, and for motorsport in Northern Ireland.

The solitary previous occasion when the Saloon Stock Car World Championship had been contested in Northern Ireland was at Aghadowey in 1993.
