Technical Update

The Saloon Stock Car Association wish to issue the following technical clarification.

Inboard suspension is NOT permitted, outboard suspension only. In respect of secondary shock absorbers, the top mounting point must be rigid and must not pivot. You must not use any additional forms of mounting.

Whilst the technical specifications have previously not been specific about mounting points for such items as secondary shock absorbers, the spirit of the rule is to not permit this type of arrangment.

This clarification will come into force from 1 June 2011.
